Pre-sales performance of ‘Patriot’ overseas
The film has registered strong numbers at overseas advance bookings. Its pre-sale has surpassed the USD 200,000 mark.According to trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty, the current total is US$201,000. This translates to around 1.88 crore in real-time gross collections.
Censor reports and initial feedback for the Mammootty starrer
In a post shared on X, AB George gave an update on the film’s foreign censor process. He stated that the certification is progressing from region to region and is close to completion.He also shared that the feedback from the beginning of the process has been encouraging. Branding Mammootty films as ‘Pan Indian’
The cast and crew recently held a promotional press conference in Kochi. During the interaction, director Mahesh Narayanan spoke about the vision behind the film.Money Control reported that at the same event, Mammootty countered the growing trend of branding films as “pan-India” projects. He made it clear that Patriot was not created with that label in mind.As Mammootty explained, the film is mainly aimed at the Malayalam speaking audience. He also pointed out that the preferences of Kerala audiences have evolved over time.
