Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday hit out at the ongoing controversy involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results, accused him of keeping silent on the matter.In a post on X, the Congress leader said, “The CBSE exam results have been tampered with extensively, leaving lakhs of children and their parents across the country in shock. And Mr Modi? As usual – no answers, no accountability, no shame.Rahul also alleged that the company COEMPT, which was given the responsibility of CBSE process, had earlier faced controversy in Telangana in 2019 in the name of Globarina. He claimed that the company’s name has changed but its “objective and nature” remains the same.He further questioned why the contract was awarded to the company and whether rules and regulations were ignored during the process. Rahul also asked why background checks were allegedly not done despite the company’s previous controversies.The Congress MP also sought answers on alleged links between the company’s management and the Modi government.Addressing the students in his post, Rahul said their hard work and future will not be allowed to be “stolen” and demanded an independent judicial probe and immediate formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT).Several students have reported problems during the reassessment process. Some Class 12 students alleged that the scanned answer sheets shared by CBSE did not match their handwriting, raising concerns over a possible mismatch in the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.
