Nicolas Cage in her first leading role on television.Based on the Marvel comic books new series follows Ben Reilly, played by Cage, a weather-beaten and down-on-his-luck private investigator navigating 1930s New York. Forced to face his past due to a profound tragedy, Reilly returns to the role of the city’s only superhero.In addition to teasing the action that will hit screens next week, the trailer also showed glimpses of the series’ classic mobsters.Silvermane played by Brendan Gleeson, Sandman by Jack Huston, Tombstone by Abraham Popoola, Molten Man by Jack Mikesell and Black Cat by Li Jun Li, among others.The cast also includes Lamorne Morris, with guest stars Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster.The first two episodes of the eight-part series are directed and produced by Harry Bradbeer, known for his work on prestigious film and television projects.The newly released trailer gives fans a sharp look at the series’ moody noir aesthetic, action-packed storylines, and Cage’s iconic Marvel character.The series will premiere worldwide on May 27, 2026.
