In an appearance on the Smartless Podcast, Nick encouraged the host to visit India and said, “Priyanka has been shooting there. This film by the director who made ‘RRR’ was her last film. It’s a big Indian epic and it’s not. [done] a film there in about eight years. So it’s a big deal… his return.”

The singer-actress also joked about Priyanka’s long filmography, adding, “She did about eighty films before she started, in this industry over there. More than 80 movies, yes. He’s 75, Will.”

He said: “It’s a really fascinating thing, you know, the way the Indian audience respects their film talent, their stars are like nothing I’ve ever seen. And of course, it’s a huge audience, over a billion people in India. And then globally, the reach is huge and there’s a bunch of projects that are really starting to make a big impact globally, and it’s very exciting now.”

Priyanka’s return to Indian films with SS Rajamouli’s ‘Varanasi’ has already created a lot of buzz among fans. The film starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles is currently in the works in India. It is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 7, 2027.Priyanka also premiered the film ‘The Bluff’ and web series ‘Citadel’ Season 2 earlier this year.
