National Testing Agency (NTA) will open an online portal today on May 21, 2026, for candidates to submit their bank account details to claim National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate refund.NEET UG) 2026 Examination Fee.Candidates appearing for re-examination of NEET UG 2026 will not need to pay any additional fee for re-examination, as notified by the agency earlier.To complete the refund process, NTA will activate a dedicated portal on the official website, which is neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates have to login and provide their valid bank account details to get the refund of examination fee paid earlier.The re-examination of NEET UG 2026 is being held after the cancellation of the first exam held on May 3 following allegations of paper leakage and other irregularities.More than 22 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the re-examination. The exam will be held on 21 June 2026 from 2 PM to 5:15 PM in pen and paper mode.
NEET UG 2026 City Preference Update
NTA has also allowed candidates to update their current address and preferred exam city due to relocation or any change in address.Candidates can make changes through the official website till 21 May 2026, 11:50 PM.The agency has clarified that the examination center allotted for re-examination may differ from the previous center depending on the city’s latest selection and availability of centres.Important Information for CandidatesAs per the FAQ issued by NTA, candidates will not be allowed to change the medium of examination selected during the original application process.Candidates are advised to check the official website neet.nta.nic.in regularly, to get latest updates regarding refund process, city preference update, admit card, and re-exam schedule.
