NEET UG 2026: NTA warns of tough cut-off time, issues advisory for Dubai, Sharjah centers
Consulate General of India Dubai has confirmed NEET UG 2026 guidelines for UAE candidates.

The Consulate General of India in Dubai has issued an advisory for candidates appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) 2026 in the UAE, which is to be held in Dubai and Sharjah under the supervision of the National Testing Agency (NTA).According to a press release dated May 2, 2026, NEET UG 2026 will be conducted in pen and paper mode at designated centers abroad, with strict reporting and admission guidelines issued to all candidates to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.Exam Centers and Schedule in UAEAs per the schedule released by the National Testing Agency, NEET UG 2026 will be conducted in Dubai and Sharjah at The Indian High School, Dubai and Sharjah Indian School, Sharjah.The exam will be held on Sunday 03 May 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM UAE Time in pen and paper mode.Admission to the examination centers will start at 9:30 AM UAE time and candidates arriving after 12 noon will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances.All candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof and required photographs along with the admit card, as mandated by the NTA guidelines issued for the examination.Students are required to strictly follow the dress code and other guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency to ensure proper verification at the centres.The Consulate General of India in Dubai has urged candidates to follow all official instructions and plan their travel in advance to avoid delays on the day of the examination.Reporting and Enrollment Compliance RequirementsTimely arrival of candidates and compliance with entry protocol should be ensured, as late arrival after the prescribed cut-off time will not be allowed inside the examination venue. Authorities have stressed that strict verification procedures will be followed at entry points.Guidance and official instructions for studentsCandidates are advised to carefully follow all the instructions issued by the NTA, including the Admit Card, valid identity documents and to adhere to the prescribed dress code throughout the examination process.CONSULATE ADVISORY ON CONDUCT OF EXAMINATIONThe Consul General has reiterated that candidates should only rely on official communication channels and follow all the exam-related instructions issued by the National Testing Agency for a smooth process.Exam Day Precautions and RemindersCandidates are expected to follow all the instructions issued by the examination authorities and ensure that they reach the center before the reporting schedule to avoid last minute inconvenience. They should also keep the necessary documents ready for verification at the points of entry.Coordination between authorities and centresThere has been close coordination between the Consulate General of India in Dubai, the examination centers in Dubai and Sharjah and the National Testing Agency to ensure that all procedures related to the examination are carried out as per the prescribed guidelines and schedules.Candidates are advised to keep calm and follow the instructions strictly.
