NEET Admit Card 2026: The National Testing Agency has postponed the release of NEET UG 2026 admit cards and announced that the hall tickets will now be made available to all candidates by 10 am on Monday, April 27, according to a notice issued through its official X account.The update comes a week ahead of the May 3 medical entrance exam and changes the expectations surrounding the release of the admit card that candidates were expecting today. Now after the revised timeline is confirmed, candidates will be able to download their hall tickets through the official NEET portal once the link is activated.NTA announced the revised admit card release schedule.In its message to the candidates, the National Testing Agency said that the NEET admit cards will be available to all registered candidates by 10 am on April 27. No change in exam date or exam timings has been announced, NEET UG is scheduled in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM.The agency has not indicated any change in examination centres, reporting arrangements or other instructions to candidates. The postponement is only related to the time of availability of admit card.Candidates are advised to use Sunday for revision.Along with the announcement, NTA urged candidates to use the last Sunday before the exam for practice tests or revising concepts. The message also advised aspirants to stay calm and stay hydrated as the final preparations are underway.The advisory comes at a time when lakhs of candidates are preparing for the national-level undergraduate medical entrance exam, which will be held for admission to MBBS, BDS and allied medical courses.Hall ticket to carry center and exam detailsOnce issued, the admit card will contain candidate details including name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time, examination center code and address. Candidates will need to carry valid government identity proof and passport size photographs along with printed copy of hall ticket to the examination centre.The admit card will be available online only through official websites including neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates will be able to access the document using their application number and password or date of birth.The exam schedule remains unchanged.Despite the delay in issuing the admit card, there has been no change in the exam schedule. NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be held on May 3 with 180 compulsory questions carrying a total of 720 marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.Amid repeated warnings from the agency against misinformation and unverified online claims regarding the exam, candidates are reminded to continue to follow only official channels for updates.
