For veteran Tollywood actor Nagarjuna, May 23 is an important day full of memories and emotions. The special date became in 1986 when the star started his journey as a leading actor in ‘Vikram’. The film marked the beginning of a career that will continue to entertain audiences for decades.On the special occasion, Nagarjuna shared an emotional note on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Thank you for all the blessings and love showered on me today. 23rd May!! ‘Manam’ made the date even more special
The significance of May 23 grew further with the release of ‘Manam’ a year later. The film remains one of the most emotional projects in the history of the Akkineni family. It was legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s last screen appearance. The film brought together three generations of the Akkineni family. Nagarjuna shared screen space with his father ANR and his sons, Naga Chaitanya and To Akhil Akkineni. He added, “On the day I had the honor of producing and releasing my legendary father ANR’s last film MANAM, a film I had the privilege of working with my father and my sons. 23rd MAY 2016 also gave me the opportunity to release Vikram’s first film, an opportunity to entertain you, who have blessed and loved you. Nagarjuna shares ‘Lenin’ teaser
Today, Nagarjuna also revealed the draft of his son Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’. Sharing the trailer he wrote, “Today 23rd May my blue life started जुज Akhil नको चिन्ना दिन्ना दुरण दुद्वुन्ते जुला हैय गा अगुड्य विधा विधा today in English translates to 2.
