The University of Mumbai has started the Undergraduate (UG) admission process for the academic session 2026-27 from May 6, 2026. The registration window will close on 21 May 2026 at 1 PM. What is Reservation Matrix?
The University of Mumbai currently operates on a quota system which follows the rules laid down by the government:
- Scheduled Castes: 13%
- Scheduled Tribes: 7%

- Economically Weaker Sections: 10%
- Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 10%
There are some other quotas for Nomadic Tribes (NT) and Denotified Tribes (DT).
