The University of Mumbai has extended the last date for registration for undergraduate (UG) admissions till May 23. Eligible students can apply online through official admission portal samarth.edu.in.Along with UG admissions, University of Mumbai has also started the application process for Post Graduate (PG) admissions 2026. Students can submit the PG admission form till May 26, while the first merit list for PG courses will be released on June 3.The university is offering admission to three-year undergraduate programs, four-year honors research courses, and five-year integrated UG and PG programs under the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The revised admission dates announced by University of Mumbai are:
- Last Date for College Level Admission Form (Online & Offline): May 23
- Last date for pre-admission online registration: May 23 by 11:59 PM
- Submission of pre-admission online form along with admission form: 23rd May
- Completion of in-house and minority quota admissions: May 23
Dates of Merit List
- First Merit List: May 26 at 11 am
- Document Verification and Fee Payment for First List: May 27 to May 29 by 3 PM
- Second Merit List: May 30 by 7 PM
- Document verification and payment of fees for second listing: June 1 to June 3 at 3 PM
- Third Merit List: June 4 at 7 PM
- Document Verification and Fee Payment for Third List: 5th June to 9th June
- Start of Classes and Orientation: June 13
