Directed by Manu Anand, the film hit the theaters on 17 April 2026 and received mixed responses from audiences and critics. ‘Mr X’ OTT release date and streaming details
The makers have officially confirmed the OTT release date of ‘Mr X’. The movie will start streaming on JioHotstar from midnight on May 14. Apart from Tamil, the film will also be available in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada to allow more viewers to watch it from home. The streaming platform announced the update via social media, confirming that the film would start “from 12 tonight”. With this fast digital release, audiences who missed out on the theatrical experience can now catch the film online.

“Mr X” revolves around a rogue intelligence agent who defies official orders after India decides to eliminate one of its captured spies. As he digs deeper into the matter, he discovers a sinister plot involving a lost nuclear weapon that could spark war between nations. The film is full of spy missions, honey trap operations, undercover operatives and action sequences. Along with the main actors, the film also appears Raiza WilsonAthulya Ravi, Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat and Anagha in important supporting roles.
