While the actor sadly passed away on Sunday, according to The Telegraph, they did not mention the cause of the accident. Born Michael Vivian Fyfe Pennington on June 7, 1943 in England, the late actor was committed to arts and crafts, specifically the work of Shakespeare. Pennington joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1964, a year later, through ‘The War of the Roses’. He also starred in a high-profile role opposite Meryl Streep in ‘The French Lieutenant’s Woman’ in the 1980s.“I realized I couldn’t let Hamlet go,” he told the aforementioned outlet, before adding, “it’s one of the prizes.” The pair worked together again in ‘The Iron Lady’, where they won an Academy Award for the project.
