This could make the film one of the highest collections for a musical biopic, surpassing the opening figures of ‘Straight Outta Compton’ (US$60.2 million) and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ (US$51 million).The film is expected to make a lot of money from overseas markets, earning $75-80 million in 82 territories.“Michael” is set to rank among the top world premieres of 2026, and could be one of the biggest releases for a musical biographical drama.
