The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will close the answer key for Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHTCET) 2026 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) Group First Attempt today on 22 May 2026. Candidates who want to challenge any answer in the provisional key can submit objections through the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.To raise objections, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 for each question challenged. CET Cell has said that the fee is non-refundable and has been introduced to avoid random or unnecessary objections.The authority has also introduced an objection tracking system to make the process more transparent. Through this feature, candidates can check the real-time status of their submitted objections using their login dashboard.

MHT CET 2026 PCM Answer Key: Procedures for raising objections

Candidates can follow these steps to submit objections against PCM answer key:

  1. Visit the official website, MAHA CET Official Portal.
  2. Click on Candidate Login Portal on Home Page.
  3. Enter registered email id and password.
  4. Select a question to challenge.
  5. Upload supporting documents if required.
  6. Pay the objection fee and submit the form.
  7. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

MHTCET 2026 Marking Scheme

Candidates can use the provisional answer key to calculate their likely score in the exam.According to Marking Scheme:

  • In math there are 2 marks for each correct answer.
  • Physics and Chemistry carries 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • No negative marks will be awarded for wrong or unanswered questions.

Colleges participating in MHT CET Centralized Admission Process (CAP) counseling include:
