Before the World Health Assembly, Markle gave a speech at the opening ceremony of The Lost Screen Memorial, ELLE reports. The space was set up in Geneva’s Place de Nations, and many attended. He was seen with the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.For the event, she opted for an all-black outfit, including black trousers, a coat and a black T-shirt. She kept her accessories minimal and simple, completing her outfit with black suede pumps, a gold necklace, a watch and a pair of gold bracelets. She kept her hair in a soft bun and wore small circular stone earrings.

Markle gave an opening speech and addressed the crowd at the event, which was held to honor children who lost their lives to online violence. “Behind me is The Lost Screen Memorial. Not statistics. Not avatars. Not data points. Children. Each name belonged to a child who was loved beyond measure. A child whose laughter filled a kitchen. His shoes once waited by a door. Whose future felt limitless.“He also decried things like “relentless algorithms, exploitative compromise and endless exposure to harmful content,” calling for action. In his speech, he stated that social networks and technology companies can take actions and steps to prevent children from being abused online.
