Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has just won a historic victory in the state elections, creating a lot of excitement among supporters and film buffs. In the phone call, Chiranjeevi wished Vijay success in his new political career and said he hoped the ‘praja paalana’ of the TVK government would remain forever in the hearts of the people of Tamil Nadu. He also told Vijay that he will provide “janata ke kalyan” oriented governance and believes that he will bring positive changes.
Chiranjeevi’s wish for Vijay
While talking to Vijay, Chiranjeevi fondly remembered legendary leader M. G. Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR. As reported by TV9 Telugu, Chiranjeevi reportedly told Vijay, “Nadu MGR saadhinchinattuga, meeru kuda prajala prema pondali” (Just like MGR got immense love from people, you too should get the same love and support). He further said that Vijay should continue to inspire people with his “clear vision and strong leadership”.” Vijay was excited and happy after receiving Chiranjeevi’s personal call and blessings Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu he also thanked the megastar for his love, wishes and encouraging words.

This is not the first time that Chiranjeevi has openly praised Vijay’s political success. On the day the election results were announced, Chiranjeevi had already shared a special congratulatory post for Vijay on social media. In the viral post, she wrote, “Dear Vijay, my heartfelt congratulations on this amazing victory in your first election.” He further added, “I hope to continue to inspire and guide people with the same determination and lakshyam.“The post quickly went viral on social media platforms, with mega fans from Telugu states and Vijay fans from Tamil Nadu sharing the post online.
Chiranjeevi has a strong bond with Vijay’s father, Chandrasekhar
Another reason behind Chiranjeevi’s warm wishes for Vijay is his long friendship with Vijay’s father, veteran filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar. Chandrasekhar directed several successful films starring Chiranjeevi in the early years of his career including ‘Chattaniki Kallu Levu’, ‘Devantakudu’ and ‘Palleturi Monagadu’. In recent interviews, Chandrasekhar praised Chiranjeevi’s respect for directors and his humble nature. He recalled, “Chiranjeevi never got angry even after many takes. He would calmly say, ‘Okay sir’ and do it.” He also revealed that he learned Telugu with the help of Chiranjeevi while shooting the films.
