Mahandi Coal Fields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), has issued an official notification inviting applications for the posts of Foreman and Technician. A total of 500 posts have been announced, and the application process will be done online.The registration process will start on 7th May 2026 and interested candidates can apply through the official website within the given last date.
Vacancy details
According to the notification, the recruitment includes two posts:
- Assistant Foreman (Electrical) Trainee – 150 Posts
- Technician (Electrician) Trainee – 350 Vacancies
These positions are temporary and may change as per company requirement.

Eligibility Criteria
As per the official notification, the following is the required educational qualification:Assistant Foreman (Electrical):
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering approved by All India Council for Technical Education (
AICTE ).
Technician (Electrician):
- Matriculation Pass (Class 10)
- Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Electrician Trade
- At least one year of training or work experience
- Valid permit under Indian Electricity Rules
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (as on 28 May 2026)
Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per government rules.
Selection process
Selection will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT) only. There will be:
- Objective type questions
- No negative marking.
- Two parts: General Awareness/Competence and Technical Knowledge
Candidates qualified in CBT will be called for document verification.
Application fee
- ₹1000 + GST (Total ₹1180 approx) for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates
- No fee for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Benchmark Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates
