In a statement at the outlet, Lisa Kasteler, CEO of the Calio Matthew Perry Foundation, spoke about the importance of the sale. “Matet believed addiction should be met with compassion and science, not stigma and silence,” she said. “This auction fuels the foundation’s work to expand access to evidence-based care and combat stigma. It’s one more way to make sure no one has to face this disease alone.“The auction site was opened on Tuesday. The items will be on display in Beverly Hills from May 18-29 with an auction on June 5 at Heritage Auctions’ Dallas showroom, and bidding will also be available online.
