TimesofIndia.com at Ahmedabad: What started as a disappointing night on the field almost turned into a much more dangerous ordeal for Gujarat Titans (GT).The night took a turn for the worse for Shibman Gul-led GT when their team bus short-circuited on their way back from the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday night, leaving the players stranded on the road for nearly an hour, TimesofIndia.com can confirm. Players and support staff were quickly evacuated, and all are safe.GT had already endured a tough evening after losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by five wickets in the IPL final at the Narendra Modi Stadium.It’s been a tough few days for the Titans. Their arrival in Ahmedabad before the final was delayed due to bad weather in northwest India. Heavy rain delayed GT’s chartered flight by nearly three hours, and the team finally reached Ahmedabad late on Saturday.Due to the delay, the scheduled captains’ photo shoot had to be postponed Shabman Gul and Rajat Patidar.The Titans barely had time to breathe in the last five days. On 26 May, they lost Qualifier 1 to RCB at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The next day, they went to Chandigarh before starting.
