Imtiaz Ali and Alia Bhatt collaborated on “Highway” (2014), widely regarded as the actor’s career-defining film. Recently, Alia created a reel using a song from ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, an act the director called spontaneous and meaningful.Speaking to Free Press Journal, Imtiaz said, “Itne hum log mean hai hie nahi (We are not that bad). Look what he’s done. He had no reason to. It’s not like he just sent something. He really did something because he wanted to.”The ‘Tamasha’ director described the film industry as a surrogate family bound by shared ambition and mutual love. He said: “We are all part of this surrogate family situation. We are all drifters and dreamers who want to make great films, we want our films to succeed and others to thrive and prosper. We also want to show love to each other. What Alia has done is indicative of how the film industry really is. People have a lot of love for each other.”The hotness is not limited to Alia alone. Actor Sharvari, who stars in the film, had earlier shared that Alia supported him during the shoot and was available on calls even when he was working abroad.
