Box office momentum is building for ‘LIK’
On Day 5, the film added a nett of 4.15 Cr in India. This represents a growth of 38.3 percent from Day 4’s Rs 3.00 Cr. It aired in 3,859 shows with the net collection in India now Rs 29.65 Cr. India gross is 34.27 Cr so far.The overseas segment contributed Rs 0.60 Cr on Day 5. This takes the total overseas gross to 10.60 Cr.

Day 4, first Monday saw a nett of Rs 3.00 Cr from 3,721 shows. Occupancy is 20.3 percent. Day 5, First Tuesday, improved to 4.15 Cr from 3,859 shows with 23.6 percent occupancy.Language-wise, Tamil has dominated with 26.0 percent occupancy of Rs 3.55 Cr from 2,550 shows. Telugu added 0.60 Cr at 19.0 percent from 1,309 shows.

Karnataka contributed Rs 30 lakh, while Kerala and the rest of India contributed Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively. The daily total reached 4.77 Cr.The overall occupancy of the Tamil 2D version on Day 5 was 23.81 percent. Morning shows registered 16.69 percent. In the afternoon it peaked at 33.38 percent, and in the afternoon and night it was 21.23 percent and 21.77 percent.The film is set in 2040.
