Mixed reactions from the public ‘I like it’
Reviews of “Love Insurance Kompany” remain divided. An online review reads: “Good story, average execution. First of all, you have to appreciate the effort. Vignesh Shivan for such a plot, even if the performances are not as good as expected, Krithi Shetty It wasn’t good at all for me, Pradeep was ok but SJ Suryah was my favorite performer and Anirudh also carried the movie with his music, other than that the movie was really average but not a flop not an unwatchable movie. The comedy is nice in part 2 making up for the average first part with a very nice interlude block. 1-2 time watch, and quite a comeback for Wikki.”Another viewer shared: “Love Insurance Kompany is a mixed experience futuristic comedy that squanders a great premise on a weak script. While the idea of a world where love is controlled by a high-tech app is ‘awesome’ for a sci-fi script, the film fails to give the story any real emotional depth.” Pradeep Ranganathan Vasu is a man trying to prove that human feelings are stronger than a computer algorithm. SJ Suryah’s chemistry with the villainous CEO is the highlight of the film as their face-to-face scenes provide the only real spark of excitement. Krithi Shetty looks beautiful on screen, but her character often feels like a flat social media addict archetype rather than a real person we should care about.”
