Mixed reviews for Pradeep Ranganathan’s film
The film is getting mixed reviews online. One viewer wrote: “Love Insurance Kompany is a mixed experience futuristic comedy that squanders a brilliant premise on a weak script. While the idea of a world where love is controlled by a high-tech app is ‘awesome’ for a sci-fi script, the film fails to give the story any real emotional depth. A computer algorithm. SJ Suryah’s chemistry with the villainous CEO is the highlight of the film as the face-to-face scenes provide the only real spark of excitement. Krithi Shetty looks beautiful on screen, but her character often feels like a flat social media addict archetype rather than a real person we should care about.”Another comment said, “Good concept and a lot of unique stuff was wasted by weak script, fake actors, no emotional connection. I don’t know why Keerthi Shetty’s very fake acting was not able to connect. What makes PR fall so fondly on Keerthi Shetty (in fact, Gauri Kishan’s acting was much better than Keerthi’s acting). So many insta stars, so many scenes were like insta reels (we paid to watch the movie not insta reels), same old PR acting and mannerisms as in dragon, it’s like repeating that dude over and over again. So much money is being wasted. The first half was as disgusting as anything. Even the music is like insta reels music.”
