One crew member is killed and three injured on SJ Suryah

The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, when they were filming an action scene.

Fatal accident during the shooting of the film

According to a report by India Today, the accident occurred around 5 am when a gas cylinder allegedly used for the sequence exploded on the set. The blast seriously injured crew member Madhan, who was on the spot during the shoot.He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by doctors.

Three crew members were injured

Apart from Madhan, three other crew members were also injured in the accident. They have been identified as Dhinakaran, Surya and Sakthivel. All three were admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai, where they are undergoing treatment.
