KEA asks CBSE, CISCE and other state board students to update Class 12 marks through DigiLocker
KCET 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an important notice for the candidates appearing for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 who have cleared the Class 12 examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and other state boards.As per the official notice, such candidates need to update their Class 12 marks through KEA portal to enable automatic retrieval of marks using DigiLocker. The authority clarified that there is no provision for manual entry of marks or submission of physical copies of mark sheets to KEA.Candidates can complete the process through the official portal KEA CET Online Portal.The authority further warned that candidates who fail to update their marks may withhold their KCET 2026 results.
Who needs to update marks?
The notice is applicable only to candidates:
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE/ICSE)
- Other State Education Boards
Students of these boards are advised to complete the marks update process immediately.
Steps to Update KCET 2026 Marks
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the process:
- First, login to DigiLocker and download the class 12 mark sheet.
- Then provide DigiLocker authorization through KEA portal to get marks automatically
- Then you have to visit official KCET portal on KCET Marks Update link.
- Log in using the required credentials.
- Finally, confirm and complete the marks update process online.
KEA has also said that digi locker step is mandatory for updating marks on CET online portal.Candidates are advised to complete this process as early as possible to avoid any issues during the preparation of results and determination of merit for KCET 2026 admissions.Read the official notice Here
