What does Kate Hudson think? women in power ?
Hudson has thought a lot about how women operate in high-stakes male-dominated environments, and she doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind. “I don’t like to generalize because you always find yourself biting your tongue, but I think women are amazing at strategy. Honestly, I think we really see the long term. We have a great ability to see the big picture,” she said.As for the pressure women face to be at the top, it was equally fair. “I think being able to be at the top as a woman requires a little bit of ambition, drive and focus. I would say you just have to redouble your effort. That’s what I think people don’t realize, which is systemic sexism. Sometimes women do it to women too. Our jobs are much more at stake.”Hudson added: “Women have one or two chances to be at the top, and you can’t make a mistake. And for a woman leading a sports franchise? The stakes are certainly high. They’re very, very high.”
