She wrote, “Every day there are so many tragic news stories about young married women, many of these educated young ladies even ask their parents to help them out of their suffocating situations before tragedy strikes, but Indian society is notorious for abandoning daughters after marriage.“Apart from calling it a failure of society, Kangana Ranaut addressed a stark message to young women, urging them to build their careers and sense of self before considering marriage.She added: “My advice to young women out there, don’t be told by social media or the fashion/dating/marriage/makeup industry. Your career is more important than anyone else in your life. Only think about marriage when you are independent, please be your own hero, no one is going to save you. What you do and who you are is more important than the life you want to marry.“
