JAC Class 12 Result 2026: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has today announced the results of the 12th class board exams on 6th May 2026. Students appearing for the exams can now check and download their scorecards from the official website, which is jacresults.com. Results are also available on DigiLocker.
Passing Marks and Criteria
To clear the JAC Class 12 exams 2026, students must secure at least 33% marks in aggregate.
- For subjects carrying 70 marks: Minimum 23 marks required.
- For subjects carrying 100 marks: Minimum 33 marks required.
Students who do not meet the required marks will be considered as failed.
Exam improvement option
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for improvement exams. These exams will be for theory papers only while the practical marks will remain the same.

- Check the official website which is jacresults.com.
- Go to the “Latest Notifications” section.
- Click on “JAC Annual Intermediate Exam Result 2026”.
- Enter your roll code and roll number.
- Click Submit.
- Your result will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout for future use.

Classification system
JAC follows a ranking system based on marks obtained:
- 80% and above: A+
- 60% to 80%: Oh
- 45% to 60%: B
- 33% to 45%: C
- Below 33%: D

Last year, more than 3 lakh students appeared for the JAC Class 12 exams. The overall pass percentage was:
- Science: 79.26%
- Trade: 91.2%
- Arts: 95.62%
