JEE Main Answer Key 2026National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session 2 candidates to review and challenge the Provisional Answer Keys for Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (B Planning). Provisional answer keys along with question paper and recorded answers have been made available for the candidates appearing in April 2026 session. Candidates who believe that there is any error in any of the answers are given an opportunity to raise objections through the online challenge system.As per the official schedule, the Answer Key Challenge window will be open from 25 April 2026 to 27 April 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). No objection will be entertained in any case after this deadline. NTA has clearly stated that challenges submitted without the required fee will be rejected outright.Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question challenged, which can be paid through debit card, credit card, or net banking only.Once objections are submitted, experts will review them. If any challenge is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised, and the updated version will be applied equally to all the candidates. Importantly, individual feedback on acceptance or rejection will not be provided.
JEE Main Answer Key 2026: Steps to Download
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to download JEE Main Answer Key 2026 on the official website:
- Visit the official NTA JEE Main Portal (
JEE Main Official Website ), jeemain.nta.nic.in. - Click on the link titled ‘Answer Key Challenge’.
- Login using your application number, password, and enter the captcha code.
- After logging in, click on ‘Challenge with Answer Key’ again to proceed.
- The question paper for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) will appear in sequence with question IDs.
- Indicate the question where you think the answer is wrong.
- Compare the “valid option” provided by NTA with the available options.
- Select the option you want to challenge by clicking the checkbox.
- Upload supporting documents in a PDF file if needed.
- After selecting all the challenges click on ‘Save your claim’.
- Review the summary of the challenged questions displayed on the screen.
- Finally, click on ‘Save your claim and pay fee’, select your payment method, and complete the transaction of ₹200 per query.
