National Testing Agency (NTAAccording to various media reports, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2 Result 2026 is likely to be declared by tomorrow, April 20, 2026.Once released, candidates will be able to check their results on the official websites, which are jeemain.nta.nic.in, nta.ac.in, and examservices.nic.in.Students will need their application number and date of birth or password to download the scorecard.This year more than 11 lakh candidates appeared for the computer-based exam. Of these, around 2.5 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced 2026 for admission to BTech programs at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).The JEE Main 2026 April session was held from April 2 to April 8, 2026. The provisional answer key and answer sheet were released on April 11, and the objection window closed on April 13, 2026.

JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026: Steps to Download

Candidates can follow the following steps to check their results.

  • Visit official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026 link.
  • Enter your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
  • Click Submit.
  • Your score card will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout for future reference.

JEE Main 2026: How to Calculate Marks

According to Marking Scheme:

  • 4 marks for each correct answer
  • -1 mark for each wrong answer
  • There is no mark for unanswered questions.

Candidates can calculate their estimated score using this formula:Score=4×(correct answers)−1×(wrong answers)This will help the students to estimate their expected marks before the declaration of the final result.
