gave National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Planning (BPlanning) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session 2 Paper 2 Results. Candidates can check their scores through the official JEE Main portal using their application number and date of birth.This year, four candidates scored a perfect 100 percent in Paper 2A and Paper 2B. Meera Krishna RS and Suryathijas S, both from Kerala, scored 100 percentile in Paper 2A of Bachelor of Architecture. In Paper 2B of Bachelor of Planning, Gauri Sankar Vam from Kerala and Sarthik Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh scored the best scores.NTA conducted the Session 2 exam on 7th April 2026 in one shift across 584 examination centers located in 319 cities, including 15 cities outside India. The exam was conducted in 13 languages.

According to NTA, 51,729 candidates registered for the Bachelor of Architecture Session 2 examination, out of which 38,914 appeared. 22,051 candidates registered for Bachelor of Planning and 15,654 appeared for the examination.In all, 94,513 candidates registered for the Bachelor of Architecture examination in all sessions, while 67,139 candidates appeared. 45,729 candidates registered for Bachelor of Planning and 30,050 candidates appeared.

Gender and category-wise participation
The NTA said that 1,00,913 candidates registered for the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 examinations, including 51,601 male candidates and 49,312 female candidates.Among the registered candidates, 37,314 belonged to other backward classes non-creamy layer category, followed by 35,662 from general category, 12,644 from scheduled caste category, 9,270 from general economically weaker section category and 6,023 from scheduled tribe category.A total of 71,423 candidates appeared in the examination, including 35,531 male and 35,892 female candidates.

NTA clarified that NTA scores are normalized scores and not equivalent to percentage marks. The final ranks are prepared by taking into account the best of the two NTA scores obtained by the candidates in both the sessions.
