JEE Advanced 2026: According to the official website, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 registration process will begin tomorrow on April 23 at 10 am. This year the exam will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to apply online through the official website, which is jeeadv.ac.in. The registration window will remain open till May 2, 2026. According to the official website, the JEE Advanced 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on 17 May 2026.To complete the registration, candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee. The fee is Rs 3,200 for general category candidates and Rs 1,600 for women, SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Last date for payment of application fee is 4th May 2026.
JEE Advanced 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 rank holders in BE or BTech paper of JEE Main 2026 to be eligible. However, international candidates can directly apply for JEE Advanced without appearing for JEE Main, provided they fulfill other eligibility conditions.Candidates should be born on or after 1st October 2001. Age relaxation of five years is available for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Applicants can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.Candidates should appear for their Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. People already enrolled in any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) under the programs listed in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority Business Rules 2025 are not eligible to apply.
JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card
The admit card of JEE Advanced 2026 will be released on May 11 at 5 PM. Candidates will be able to download it till 17th May 2026 at 2:30 PM.The admit card will contain details like candidate’s name, roll number, JEE Main application number, photograph, date of birth, category and signature. Candidates should verify all the details carefully and report any discrepancy to the concerned Zonal IIT authorities.
JEE Advanced 2026: Exam Pattern
JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT). The examination will consist of two compulsory papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.Each paper will have three sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.Both papers will be available in English and Hindi. Each paper will be of three hours duration. PwD category candidates will be given four hours of compensatory time.

AAT 2026
Candidates who qualify JEE Advanced 2026 will be eligible to apply for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026. This exam is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programs offered at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee.AAT 2026 will consist of one paper of three hours duration. PwD candidates will get one hour extra. The examination will be conducted in English only, and no separate admit card will be issued.Registration for AAT 2026 will start on 1 June 2026 at 10 AM.
