As much as we are talking about the attackers in this PSG side to play football.” Battle for controlVitinha is the mainstay for PSG keeping them ticking in both attack and midfield. The Portuguese made 227 line-breaking passes from the middle of the pitch Champions League This season – 44 more than any other player. Arsenal’s Declan Rice will have to limit his creativity to have less impact on PSG’s midfield.
“It’s also the control of Joao Neves, Witna and Fabian Ruiz or whoever plays in midfield. Kvaratskhelia’s ball-carrying abilities can give any defender the run for his life, and his 141 progressive carries in this season’s Champions League have seen him travel 1,557 metres.Five of his goals in the 2025-26 competition have come directly after those carries. And Arsenal desperately need to play the Dutchman as he is their best – and arguably only – hope to contain Kvartskhelya.
“Pressure is a privilege. It is the head that always wears the crown,” said the former India striker.“PSG have experience on big European nights. But sometimes freshness brings the unexpected and that’s what Luis Enrique will be working on.”Difference makers are waiting in reserve.Talking about the strength of the bench, Singh said “If you need defensive stability, Arsenal are very much prepared from the bench. When you look at the attackers, I still think PSG can bring in players who can change the game.”Singh pointed to Kai Howertz and Bradley Barkola as potential match-changers from both dugouts. Havertz, who scored the winner for Chelsea in the 2021 final against Manchester City, could prove decisive in the later stages of the match.
