Music composer Ismail Darbar revealed that Salman Khan was reduced to tears after hearing ‘Tadap Tadap’ from ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. Salman reportedly told Ismail that the song hurts him a lot. Salman and Aishwarya Rai separated in 2002. Aishwarya later married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007.

‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, starring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Raiit is still one of the most popular movies among fans. The movie was released in 1999 and people loved it for the amazing chemistry between the two actors and its beautiful songs. The sad song ‘Tadap Tadap’ was a particularly big hit. Recently, music composer Ismail Darbar discussed the genesis of the song and Salman was also seen in tears after listening to it.

Ismail Darbar recalls Salman Khan’s hurtful reaction to ‘Tadap Tadap’

Talking to FilmyGyan, Ismail recalled, “One day, Sanjay (Leela Bhansali) was listening to the song and there was a sound, with some strong words. Suddenly, everyone went silent. “Brother, what’s going on?” Then Salman said, ‘Every time I hear this song, it hurts me so much. Please don’t play in front of me.'”“I have seen Salman Khan very restless at that moment. I have literally seen Salman screaming and shouting loudly. I have witnessed that side of him myself,” he added.

Bhansali shows that love was in the air on the sets

In an earlier interview, Bhansali talked about the warm and loving atmosphere on the sets of his iconic film, admitting that romance wasn’t the only thing filling the air. “Yes, there was love in the air. But not just between them; there was a lot of love between everyone. Zohra Sehgalji, Helen Aunty, Salman, Aishwarya, Vikram Gokhale, Smita Jayekar—we were like one big family. I don’t think I’ve had such an exhilarating experience shooting another film,” the filmmaker told us.
