Mumbai: BCCI will announce its venues. IPL 2026 playoffs in a few days. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia told reporters at the BCCI headquarters here on Saturday that what could be a suitable venue for the playoffs and finals of the IPL, we are working on two more days. The BCCI secretary refused to say whether the designated venues – Milanpur and Bengaluru – would host the play-off ties due to Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings being the finalists and champions last year. “You can guess, but I’m not going to answer you. We’ll call in two days,” he said. Milanpur hosted Qualifier 1 and the eliminator, while the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad (conventionally the final was to be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata) hosted Qualifier 2 and the final out of turn last year’s season, which was briefly halted due to the Indo-Pak war. The BCCI has not released the dates for the IPL 2026 playoffs, except to announce that the final will be held on May 31.
