He is just a kid, just 15 years old, and they brought him to play professional cricket in the IPL. This is nothing but child labour.”“How can they force a minor boy to play in such a big league? He should focus on his studies, go to school and complete his education instead of playing cricket at such a young age,” said Naik. Naik added that allowing Suryavanshi to compete at this level sets a ‘very bad precedent’ for youngsters across the country.“I strongly condemn this and I will file a police complaint or legal case against Rajasthan Royals management for violating child rights and child labor laws. Don’t let this boy play IPL cricket, this is child labour, he should read,” he added.
