New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 33 runs in a high-scoring affair. IPL Clash on Wednesday, climbing to the top of the points table. SRH piled up a massive 235/4, thanks to a strong knock from Heinrich Klassen (43 to 69) and Ishan Kishan (55 in 32) while Punjab could only make 202/7 in reply.Punjab’s poor fielding proved costly throughout the match. The team dropped several easy catches, missed a simple stumping, and gave several lifelines to the SRH batsmen. Spinner Yuzvinder Chahal finished with good figures but received little support from the fielders.

For the Punjab Kings, Cooper Connolly struggled single-handedly with an unbeaten 107 off 59 balls, but the target always stood too high after a poor start. SRH bowlers Pat Cummins And Ishan Malinga kept things tight with crucial wickets and dot balls, ensuring Punjab never really threatened the chase.The loss was Punjab’s ninth consecutive IPL defeat in Hyderabad and their third consecutive defeat this season.
