Indian Navy has released the detailed exam schedule for Agnivir SSR and MR Recruitment 2026. The written test will be conducted on May 13 and May 14/15 across the country. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment drive can expect the admit card to be released soon on the official website.Recruitment is going on for the posts of Agniveer SSR, Agniveer MR, and SSR (Medical) for 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. The application process for these posts was earlier closed on 6th April 2026.
Indian Navy Engineer SSR, MR Exam 2026: Selection Procedure
The selection process will begin with the INET 2026 exam, which will be conducted in a computer-based mode. Eligible candidates will proceed to the next stages, including the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), followed by the second stage written test, document verification, and medical examination. Each stage is compulsory, and candidates must clear all rounds to be considered for final selection.Candidates who qualify the written test will have to attend the physical fitness test. Male candidates are required to complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes and 30 seconds, along with fixed push-ups, sit-ups and squats. Female candidates will have separate criteria, including completing the race in 8 minutes, among other physical tasks.Finally selected candidates will undergo training at INS Chilka in Odisha. The training phase is an important part of the recruitment process and prepares candidates for their roles in the Indian Navy.
