According to TOI City, the visit was kept private, with Ranveer entering the venue quietly. He entered the temple around 7:30 am like a regular devotee and spent almost 10 minutes inside offering prayers. He hid his identity by wearing a mask, although the temple staff eventually recognized him and welcomed him with a garland. Notably, the Karnataka High Court had earlier closed the proceedings against him in the ‘Kantara’ mimicry case with an order to visit the temple.

The temple visit comes at a time when Ranveer finds himself in the middle of a growing controversy surrounding his exit from ‘Don 3’. A film workers organization has stated that over four thousand of its members will refuse to work with the “Dhurandhar” star. The matter escalated further when the film’s producers, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, filed a complaint with the Film and Television Directors Association of India, which was later referred to the FWICE.

According to Ashok Dubey, Honorary General Secretary of FWICE, the non-cooperation directive was issued after Singh ignored repeated warnings from the federation. “We will not work with Ranveer Singh from today, be it cameraman, spot boy, light men or anyone else from our side. This non-cooperation will continue till the dispute is resolved,” Dubey announced at a press conference.
