Delhi Capitals fast bowlers Kyle Jamieson admitted that he felt an unusual sense of dread facing teenage sensation Vibhu Suryavanshi, as DC cruised to a seven-wicket victory. Rajasthan Royals on Friday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.KL Rahul led a dominant chase as Delhi Capitals beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, successfully chasing 226 with five balls to spare.Rahul opened the innings with a 40-ball 75, while Patham Nissanka opened the innings with a blistering 62 off 33. A partnership from Nitish Rana (33 off 17) and an unbeaten finishing stand between Ashutosh Sharma and Tristan Stubbs ensured a smooth chase.Earlier, Ryan Prag scored a brilliant 90 in 50 for Rajasthan as they slumped to 12/2. He shared a crucial 102-run partnership with Dhruv Jural (42), which helped Royals post 225/6. However, on a batting pitch, their total proved insufficient as Delhi completed their second consecutive successful 225+ chase at the venue within a week.Reflecting on the challenge posed by the 15-year-old after the win, Jamieson revealed that despite the thorough planning, the youngster’s courage made him a formidable opponent.“I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared of a 15-year-old in my life. We had our plans going into the game, and it was nice to see,” Jamieson said in a video shared by the IPL.However, Jamieson stressed the importance of early success with the new ball.“For most teams, it’s about their top two getting off to a flyer. Starkey got one with a high full toss, and I got one with a yorker. It was nice to get those early wickets and stop the flow in the powerplay.”He also talked about sharing the new ball with fellow left-arm pacer. Mitchell Starccalling it a valuable experience.“He’s world class. It’s a huge advantage to have someone like him in the squad. It’s come at the right time for us, and it’s pretty surreal to share the new ball with him.”While Jamieson was able to dismiss Suryavanshi, his dismissal proved costly, conceding 48 runs in four overs. In contrast, Starc produced a strong performance on his return, taking three wickets for 40 runs.
