The production house took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a new poster of the film and confirmed the release date.“A walk through love begins in theaters in July. Idhayam Murali on big screens from JULY 10, worldwide,” the post read.

A film dedicated to one-sided love
Idhayam Murali revolves around the theme of one-sided love. At the film’s title launch event in Chennai earlier this year, Atharvaa spoke about the emotional core of the story. “To tell the truth, the joy, sadness, disappointment experienced in one-sided love is much more significant than the one experienced in a two-sided love relationship and unforgettable in life. We wanted to show all this and dedicate a film to one-sided love,” he said.The actor also clarified the meaning of the title, saying, “We didn’t keep this title Idhayam Murali for the sake of my father. In the film, I have an Idhayam Murali in me. I have a one-sided love.”The previously released teaser of the film shows Atharvaa’s character living in the US, where he is called Idhayam Murali. The teaser also details her emotional journey and romantic struggles before her uncle asks her to come home for a wedding.
