The Ice Age gang is officially back on the big screen!Disney has released the first teaser trailer for ‘Ice Age: Boiling Point’, giving fans a look at the next big adventure that awaits our Ice Age trio and their friends. The trailer offers a first look at the long-awaited sixth installment of the beloved franchise.Teaser trailer: “OUCH! #IceAge: Boiling Point is hot on its heels! Coming to theaters only February 5th, 2027.”The short preview introduces viewers to the mammoth Manny, voiced by Ray Romano; saber-toothed tiger Diego, voiced by Denis Leary; Sloth Sid, voiced by John Leguizamo; the adventurous Buck, voiced by Simon Pegg; and Ellie, the voice of Queen Latifah.Fan favorite characters Scrat, Crash, Eddie and Baby Scrat will also return. The film sets the team on a new chaotic adventure across dinosaur-infested landscapes and rivers of lava. According to the teaser, the film will see our favorite dysfunctional group on the run again as they take on new natural disasters in The Lost World.While plot details are still under wraps, more information about the film is expected closer to the film’s release date. A full-length trailer is also planned for late 2026.The return marks a major milestone for the Ice Age franchise, which debuted in 2002 and became one of the most successful animated series. The first sequel, ‘Ice Age: The Meltdown’, was released in 2006 and was a huge commercial success, grossing over $660 million worldwide. It was followed by ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ in 2009, ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’ in 2012 and ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’ in 2016.
