HPSOS March 2026 Results: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala has announced that the results of the Himachal Pradesh State Open School (HPSOS) examinations held in March 2026 have been declared on 25 May 2026, Chairman of the Board Dr. Rajesh Sharma said. He confirmed that the declaration covers Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 examinations which were conducted under the open schooling system.He added that the pass percentage in class 8 is 61.06 per cent, in class 10 54.66 per cent, and in class 12 64.57 per cent, which reflects the overall performance of candidates at all three levels.Class wise pass percentage detailsAccording to the board, 61.06 per cent pass results were recorded in Class 8 examination, while 54.66 per cent in Class 10 and 64.57 per cent in Class 12 were recorded, indicating different performance across levels.The process of re-evaluation and re-evaluationClass 10 and Class 12 candidates can apply for re-evaluation, while Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 students are eligible to re-check through HPSOS Study Centers through online mode, applications are accepted only through authorized centers, and the last date of submission is set as June 10, with a fee of Rs 200-200 per exam, said Dr. Rajesh Sharma. and rechecking fee Rs.800 per subject; Re-evaluation will be allowed only for theory papers excluding MCQ sections and will require a minimum of 20% marks in the subject.Application schedule improvements and reappearancesThe board said that candidates whose results have been declared re-appear or passed and who wish to apply for re-appear or improvement examination (within 1 year) for the September 2026 session can submit applications through their respective HPSOS Study Centres. The application window without late fee will be open from 5 June 2026 to 30 June 2026, while applications with a late fee of Rs 1000 will be accepted from 1 July 2026 to 13 July 2026, and no extension will be granted beyond the specified dates.Access to results and contact informationCandidates can access their exam results on the official website of the board.
