TN SSLC Result 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is expected to announce the Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026 tomorrow on May 20, 2026.Once released, students who had appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board exams will be able to check and download their provisional mark sheets through the official website — tnresults.nic.in.Although the board has not officially confirmed the result announcement time, reports suggest that the result may be announced around 9:30 am.Students are advised to keep their registration number and date of birth ready to avoid delay while checking the result online.The provisional mark sheet will contain subject wise marks, total score, pass status and other important details related to the exam.

TN SSLC Result 2026: Exam Details

The Tamil Nadu Class 10 board exams were conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026 in offline mode at various examination centers across the state.The exams were held in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. Students were given an extra 15 minutes before the exam to read the question paper and plan their answers.

How to Download Tamil Nadu Class 10 Mark Sheet from DigiLocker

Students can also access their digital mark sheets through DigiLocker by following these steps.

  • Visit the DigiLocker Result Portal or open the DigiLocker App.
  • Sign in using registered mobile number or Aadhaar credentials.
  • New users must first complete the registration process.
  • Go to the “Education” or “Results” section on the home page.
  • Select Tamil Nadu Board from the list of Boards.
  • Click on “SSLC Result 2026”.
  • Enter required details like roll number and year of passing
  • Click Submit.
  • Download and save the provisional digital mark sheet for future reference.

Last year, the Tamil Nadu Board declared the SSLC results on May 16 and recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.80%.A total of 9,13,036 students appeared for the exam in 2025. Girls fared better than boys with 95.88%, while boys scored 91.74%.In 2024, the overall pass ratio stood at 91.55 percent, with over 8.18 lakh students successfully qualifying the exam.After the declaration of results, students will also be able to check updates regarding revaluation, supplementary exams, and original marksheet distribution through the official portals of the Tamil Nadu Board.
