‘House of the Dragon’ has released its final explosive trailer for Season 3, teasing the war, dragons and destruction of Westeros.The HBO series, scheduled to return on June 21, released a new trailer with the tagline: “The throne knows no mercy.”Picking up where the first trailer left off, the new footage follows Emma D’Arcy’s Rhaenyra Targaryen and Matt Smith’s Daemon Targaryen laying siege to Westeros with their dragons and unleashing chaos in their path. Unlike previous clips that talked fans about the Battle of the Gullet, dragon fights and more, this one takes fans through a burning city that descends into violence and chaos as its armies march across the Seven Kingdoms and its queen claims her throne.Season 3 will pick up directly after the events of Season 2 and focus on the Battle of the Gullet, one of the bloodiest conflicts in George RR Martin’s fantasy universe.
