Fans of ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Gilded Age’, ‘House of the Dragon’, ‘Lanterns’ have a lot to look forward to this year, as HBO released a new “Coming Soon” trailer on Sunday, teasing first look footage and release dates for some of its biggest upcoming web series.

HBO debuts the promotion of 20 titles

Harry Potter will be released in December

The promotion gives fans the chance to see more than 20 titles that will be released this year, as well as those that are currently streaming online. Highlights included fresh footage from the highly anticipated ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ TV adaptation. The teaser briefly shows the young wizard entering the Quidditch pitch ahead of the show’s official release on December 25, 2026. The series created incredible buzz earlier this year, with its first teaser becoming the most-watched trailer in HBO and HBO Max history.

House of the Dragon is all set for release in June

Those waiting for another look at ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3, which premieres on June 21, saw Rhaenyra Targaryen cry as Daemon Targaryen tells her, ‘This is the moment you become queen.’

Set in season 4 of ‘The Gilded Age’

Beloved period drama ‘The Gilded Age’ was confirmed to return for a fourth season in 2026. HBO officially renewed the series in July 2025.

‘Linterns’ opens on August 16

The promo also highlighted the Lanterns, featuring a new look at actor Kyle Chandler donning his superhero costume and taking flight. The show will premiere on August 16.

Upcoming June and July publications

It was also previewed ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’, the upcoming spin-off centered on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Stuart Bloom. Actor Kevin Sussman reprises his role in the comedy, which opens on July 23.Other projects previewed in the teaser include ‘Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Seattle Seahawks’, which will premiere in August, and ‘Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness’, which will arrive on June 26.Along with scripted dramas and comedies, HBO Max also showcased several documentary and fiction projects, including a new documentary about ‘Earth, Wind & Fire’ and the return of Conan O’Brien in ‘Conan O’Brien Must Go’.
