People wanted clickbait, they got it. They wanted headlines, they got it. I’ve never made it clear, and I won’t because I don’t care. It’s okay. I don’t regret it. It is better to get off the train than to suffer if you get on the wrong train. So it’s okay, it’s okay. I have tremendous support from my family. I have no regrets. So I’m very happy where I’m at,” he said.

‘Why take that pressure?’

The actress also addressed society’s expectations of marriage and motherhood, questioning why timelines are imposed on women.“I don’t know… it didn’t happen that way with me. I was never put in that box that said you’ve reached this age, you should get married. There are too many people telling you what to do. But girls today are so strong and independent that they do what’s right for them,” she said.“Earlier people said get married at 25, then at 30, now at 40. Who are these people? Even after marriage they say they have a baby now. But if it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. Why take that pressure?” he added.

‘Love is beautiful…the universe will guide me’

Talking about love and relationships, Hansika thinks it’s about moving forward without losing yourself.“Love is beautiful and right now I don’t know when it’s time. I think the universe will guide me. If it’s written for me, it’s written for me,” she said.“Why would you lose yourself in any relationship? First, you have to respect yourself, then you can respect someone else,” he added.
