The project has a value of 60 million euros and has been officially announced as part of the Cannes film market. It’s being called one of the “most ambitious” projects of the year, according to reports. Along with leading the film as an actor, Butler is also working on producing the film.Production on the upcoming film will begin early next year and is currently in development and pre-production. The story is written by Aaron Benjamin and is reportedly inspired by the true stories of real operators in the field.

The premise of the upcoming thriller revolves around the life of an expert sniper, to be played by Butler, who receives a threat via an anonymous radio broadcast during a championship game. He is then faced with the dilemma of saving his family members, along with around 70,000 people, all gathered in a stadium, from a massive attack designed to kill everyone around them.
