In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anil Sharma reflected on a time when he faced uncertainty in the film industry. The director recalled that a producer once withdrew a check and dismissed him as an “irrelevant director.” However, Sharma explains that such remarks have never affected his outlook.Coming to the subject, he said: “I don’t want to prove my importance to anyone, I don’t till today, not even then. I laugh when someone says that. I’m not hurt by the industry. What matters to me is that the audience saw my film and liked it, that’s all.”Soon after facing these challenges, Anil Sharma directed ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
