Production on ‘Man of Tomorrow’, the highly anticipated sequel to ‘Superman’, is officially underway and is taking social media by storm with new photos and videos from the film set.On Tuesday, fans not only got to see David Corenswet as Superman, but also Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Footage captured by fans on location showed Corenswet filming an action sequence in the middle of a city street. In a widely shared video, the actor can be seen suspended by a crane while filming what appears to be a flying scene.Additional clips from the set featured cast members rehearsing action choreography before arriving on the set of the film at DC Studios.

James Gunn has unveiled his first look at Lex Luthor
The leaked images come shortly after writer-director James Gunn shared the first look at Lex Luthor’s iconic war. “Fit check. Live from the set of ‘Man of Tomorrow,'” Gunn wrote alongside the image.In DC Comics lore, Lex Luthor’s suit of armor is said to be one of the villain’s most formidable weapons, designed to allow the billionaire’s mind to physically take on Superman. The armor gives Luthor increased strength, flight abilities, and other superhuman abilities.
Superman and Lex Luthor must face a new threat
According to reports, ‘Man of Tomorrow’ will pit Corenswet’s Superman and Hoult’s Lex Luthor against one of the hero’s most dangerous adversaries – Brainiac. The iconic DC villain, who will be portrayed by Lars Eidinger, is expected to be the film’s main antagonist, as he is considered one of Superman’s greatest enemies.

Several key Superman actors will return for the sequel. Rachel Brosnahan will reprise her role as Lois Lane, and Skyler Gisondo will return as Jimmy Olsen. Sara Sampaio returns as Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific.Milly Alcock, who made a brief appearance as Kara Zor-El in the first film, will return after directing DC Studios’ Supergirl.The sequel will also introduce Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart to the big screen, making his character debut in HBO Max’s series Lanterns.
